If you’re working with hardware synths, Eurorack modules, or building a DAWless setup, you know how quickly things can spiral out of control. Between MIDI routing, modulation sources, and trying to keep everything in sync, it’s easy to get lost in the complexity.
This is where the S32 and CV16 come in — not as another layer of gear, but as a solution to tie your setup together and give you meaningful control over it all.
Let’s break down how these tools are designed to help you stay creative and focused, not frustrated.

Macros: The Core Concept
At the center of the S32 is a powerful idea: every knob is a macro.
Each of the 32 high-resolution knobs lets you assign up to 4 MIDI messages — all triggered at once. These aren’t just basic CCs. You can map:
- CC, 14-bit CC, NRPN, RPN, Aftertouch, Program Change, SysEx
- Parameters from MIDI effects running inside the S32
- LFO and CV outputs from a connected CV16 module
That means a single knob can sweep a filter cutoff, trigger a chord inversion in the harmonizer, change a clock division in the arpeggiator, and tweak an LFO speed — at the same time.
It’s like building your own instrument controls for the exact workflow you want.
MIDI Effects, Built In
The S32 includes an internal MIDI effects engine, giving you tools like:
- Arpeggiator – with adjustable rate, gate, octave range, direction, and sync
- Euclidean Sequencer – generate rhythmically interesting patterns based on steps and pulses
- Scale Remap – shift incoming notes to a defined scale or mode for melodic consistency
- Harmonizer – stack intervals and build chords from a single note input
- Randomizer – introduce variation to velocity, timing, pitch, or any MIDI parameter
- Delay – create echo effects or generate rhythmic MIDI repeats
- Chance – define the probability for notes or messages to pass through, adding controlled randomness
- MIDI Clock – act as the timing master for your setup, sending precise MIDI clock to external gear, with tempo control, start/stop transport, and sync options for both internal and external clocks
- MIDI Filters – block or allow specific message types, channels, or ranges
- MIDI Router – reroute messages internally between outputs, effects, or devices for advanced signal flow
And more effects are in development — all designed to be mapped, modulated, and integrated directly with your macros.
Each of these effects exposes parameters that you can control with macros. So instead of navigating menus or mapping things externally, your knobs become expressive tools — with direct control over the effect chains you build.
The effects run directly on the S32. No computer required. No external MIDI processor.
CV16: Extend Your Setup into Eurorack — and Beyond
If you’re working with modular gear or semi-modular synths, the CV16 gives you precise, flexible control over voltage.

It’s a 16-output MIDI-to-CV module, with each output individually configurable for pitch, gate, velocity, modulation — or any MIDI-controllable parameter. And it’s not limited to Eurorack:
- Switchable voltage ranges per output: choose between -5V to +5V or 0V to 10V, making it ideal for semi-modular systems and standalone analog gear
- 16-bit resolution on every output for ultra-smooth modulation
- Internal LFO engine – assign LFOs to any output, with support for LFO-to-LFO modulation
- Chaining support – combine multiple CV16 units for complex polyphonic or multi-mod setups
- Three power options – power via Eurorack power, USB, or directly from the S32 for flexible integration
Whether you’re sequencing analog synths, modulating filters, or building complex modulation chains, the CV16 gives you direct, high-resolution control over voltage — mapped and automated just like your MIDI parameters.
A Workflow That Works With You
The S32 is designed to bring control and flexibility to any kind of setup — whether you’re producing in a DAW, jamming with hardware, or combining both.
- Map multiple parameters to one knob to simplify complex setups
- Dual MIDI outputs + USB MIDI let you control DAWs, hardware synths, or both at once
- Save presets, switch configurations instantly, and recall them without hassle
- Use MIDI Learn and Pickup modes for seamless integration into any environment
- Control internal MIDI effects, external gear, and software instruments—all from one place
- Expand into modular and CV workflows with the optional CV16 module, featuring 16 assignable CV outputs and built-in LFOs
Whether you’re working in-the-box, DAWless, or building a hybrid rig, the S32 adapts to your flow — keeping everything tightly connected, expressive, and under control.
